Jimmy Dugan always had plenty of inspiring and motivational words (such a caring spirit, that one). But he was no match for Dottie Hinson! She could match his wit off the field and his skills on the field.

This authentic yet affordable costume comes with everything you need to recreate the movie’s main character (and total ringer) in no time! The twill short-sleeved shirtwaist dress has off-center buttons in the front and belt loops at the waist for a flattering look. The embroidered patches ironed onto the bodice and left sleeve let everyone know which team you play for. The details are what really set this costume apart. The red canvas ball cap has an embroidered ‘R’ on it, no flimsy thing—you could wear it even when you aren’t in costume. The red knit knee-high socks protect your shins while you make your way around the bases and the red faux leather belt has a silver-tone metal buckle that adds a fabulous finishing touch.
