It's pretty rare these days to find a prop that truly captures the creepy feel of discarded mannequins or fiberglass statues. But this 55" Standing Boy really feels like something that you'd only find in an attic or antique store. It's just that most of the time, people don't know what to do with a spooky reminder of that awkward time when your limbs are a little too long for their own good. Most of the time, people don't get all dressed up in a bowtie, vest, and cummerbund, only to look on forlornly while the world spins idly on its axis.
Luckily, there's Halloween, when a tall, slight guy with a pale face and a far-off stare can earn his keep by serving your guests an off-kilter hors d'oeuvre from a tray held between his poseable arms. It's not that he doesn't enjoy it! He just takes his job very seriously.
